30-something radical quaker dyke with diabetes. I have a Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary, which qualifies me to boss around God. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that anyone else does what I want! (Er, God doesn't always do what I want, either. But I can try to throw my weight around.)

It turns out that I really like reading fanfiction and promoting it. I also love databases, html coding, and beta-reading as long as it's for the sake of fandom. It doesn't beat out singing yet, though. I still like singing best. And gardening! I like growing my vegetables.

They gave me a banner, so I suppose here is the place to show it off:

I'm all official-like, which is very funny.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MY FICTION AND NOT MY PERSONAL MUSINGS AND RANTINGS, YOU WANT TO BE READING songquake_fic.

Ah, yes. I suppose I ought to say what it is that goes into this particular livejournal. Musings, rantings, queries, advice-seeking. Updates on my family life (since most of my f-list at one point actually knew me IRL, and also knew some of the fam, folks actually do tend to know what I'm talking about). Updates on my mental health. Thoughts about religion and ethics in the public sphere. Unfulfilled promises to update the f-list about my sexcapades. Promotion for concerts I, my sibs, and my friends are in. Thoughts about the intersection of submission, God, BDSM, and music. Contemplation of music, along with YouTube videos when available.

Please do let me know if you decide to friend me; if I do not know who you are, and/or find you have an empty livejournal, I probably won't friend you back.
